Apple full?

Why yes...somehow I have too much on my laptop and have purged all I care to purge so until I get an external hard drive, the photos from the beach and other happenings will be delayed.

Oh...and my UGGS...another tiddlywinks.  They finally bit the dust. Well, to be honest, they started to smell (after four years!).  Yuck.  I might have dumped baking soda in them just to see if it would help.  And do you know they raised the price? I NEVER buy shoes. Maybe two pairs a year so the sweet hubby told me to go get new ones :)  I think he knows my love affair with those shoes. 

And then there is this sweet thing.  I hope you all get to meet her. She is quite the light.

I told Matt that loving you is like being a huge plastic bag full of water with tiny holes all over and someone is pushing on the sides.  Love just gushes out :)

Ruth Charlotte and Co.

So my beautiful sis (and her lovely assistant/one of my best friends, Courtney) came over and took our first family pics on Saturday.  My sister is truly one of the most talented human beings I have ever met (her website is here).

Each day gets a little better settling into this new role.  The first smile I ever saw of hers was a week and a half ago and it was as I was telling her the story of why she was named "Ruth."  I know she was probably just passing gas or dreaming but I truly feel that it was a gift from God that was desperately needed...it made me tear up just having that little bit of affirmation that she truly is a promise and I am so meant to be a mom.

Facts on Miss Ruth Charlotte: she is very alert, she holds her head up and has been since birth, she doesn't seem to be a huge fan of sleep, she always smiles right when she is done eating, she hates wet diapers (so much so that we are averaging 15/day), she is quite petite but yet very long, she is SO strong (can already use her legs to push herself up), and she is deeply loved by her very blessed mommy and daddy.

THE Bachelorette Pad Hotties

I seriously love these girls. Talk about a raise in the standard of people you know just by knowing anyone one of them...let alone five!  

This is where I used to live (I lived with my sis, the diva blonde with the insane model poses and Courtney, the gorgeous brunette with the curly locks and cream scarf.

I got to take their roomie pics for their Christmas card last weekend.  How do you get so many beautiful gals in one place?!?!?  Boys, you should be asking yourselves that and then do something about (only if you are amazing, godly, handsome, and well, funny).

Oh, and we are 16 weeks now! I will start showing photos when they are consistent-one day I have a little pouch and the next it is gone.  I would say the best word is "thickening" as babycenter.com so eloquently states. (My husband thinks they shouldn't tell women they are thickening-he thinks it alludes to pudding.  Update: I wrote this yesterday and by the afternoon, the bump was in town.  Legit. For reals.
