Another lovely wedding.

I was able to see my hubby do his first wedding (marrying Evan and Bekah)!  It was amazing and some of our dearest friends were there as well.  Linsey (new McHottersen best friend), was the planner/florist/everything and was able to get her grass because the weather was not cooperating.

It was amazing and such a joy to see a couple we were able to meet with share and commit to vows before God and their witnesses.

First off-our little beauty asleep.  Gosh she just melts me.

The wedding planner and I :) Nothing like a fire and rain.

Handsome and I.

And this beautiful couple are getting married in August!

yes, they are that pretty...

I think this made all of Becca's dreams come true: rain, fire, husband and grass.

I have a million things to update (our trip to the beach...twice now)...but still haven't purchased that external hard drive.

Off to Sunriver for the pastor/elder retreat!

Apple full?

Why yes...somehow I have too much on my laptop and have purged all I care to purge so until I get an external hard drive, the photos from the beach and other happenings will be delayed.

Oh...and my UGGS...another tiddlywinks.  They finally bit the dust. Well, to be honest, they started to smell (after four years!).  Yuck.  I might have dumped baking soda in them just to see if it would help.  And do you know they raised the price? I NEVER buy shoes. Maybe two pairs a year so the sweet hubby told me to go get new ones :)  I think he knows my love affair with those shoes.

And then there is this sweet thing.  I hope you all get to meet her. She is quite the light.

Sweet girl-I couldn't love you more.

I told Matt that loving you is like being a huge plastic bag full of water with tiny holes all over and someone is pushing on the sides.  Love just gushes out :)

Must read. Now. LOVE DOES.

So as is normal for me, I already gave away this book without finishing it...oops.  That is the way I roll. If I am reading something remarkable and feel someone needs it more than me I either give away my copy or go and buy ten more copies and give those away.

This is another one of those books.

LOVE DOES. by bob goff

Go purchase this today.  If you want to laugh, hear stories of what it would be like to actually live a life fully alive, then read this.

Here is the youtube video:

Did you buy it yet?  Trust me on this one (and all the other ones). And no, I haven't read Hunger Games and I really don't think I ever will...I get nightmares from stories like that.

xoxo, Anna N

PS: I am now going to buy another so I can actually finish the book :)

Letter to my daughter

Oh dearest, most beautiful, Ruthie...

I can't believe you have been here only three months.  It seems like I have known you my entire life and have been set apart for you (and your daddy) since the beginning of time.

Here are my prayers for you; prayers for your heart, your beauty, your way:

-that you continue to be pure joy. May you always just be smiling at people even when they aren't looking at you like you do now (melt).

-that you continue to love people the way you do.  You met a 90+ year old woman named Helen in Freddies and we bought her coffee...then you talked to her and smiled at her like you had known her your entire life (you were only 2.5 months old).  To be honest, I didn't even understand what she was saying but you did. Do you know how much that touched her heart??? She started crying hysterically when we left. May you continue to show God's love to everyone and make everyone feel beautiful.  I truly think you made her feel like she was five again...I admire you.

-I don't care if you are brilliant, I just want you to be lovely and compassionate (you already are).

-I pray you come to know who God is at a very young age and then from there go out and share how beautiful He is and tell the story of forgiveness and hope.

-I pray you are the hands and feet of God's love for people and that you let everyone around you know that they are worth it and they are loved.

-I pray you change the world. Not for your sake, or my sake, or daddy's sake, but for His sake.
-I pray that you live big, not safe.  That you know that faith is worth living out fully.

-I pray that you don't seek comfort but you seek the highest beauty you can know on God's green earth.  Love does.

I just teared up talking to you here on the couch. Why? Because you come alive when people talk to you and you have a smile that lights up a room (and my heart).

You are God's promise of my beautiful life and all He has done.  May you know love in a deeper way every day.

I pray I am the best momma to you.

I love you more than my heart knew was possible.

Love, your humble momma

PS: You rolled over yesterday from your back to your front.  It was epic.

Oh, Pacific we come!

FYI: Picture overload (thanks to the most fascinating contraption ever invented, the IPhone).

And, we are off to the beach for an evening to stay in the most gorgeous beach house ever-I will post pics when we return.  It is the beach home of the couple who's house we met at many years ago...and now we get to bring Ruthie!

A few of the recent happenings. Heart is full.

Pure joy.

Our little girl is just melting my heart.

Pretty season started

The wedding season has officially begun.

We have three within this month. Woot woot!

We attended the BEAUTIFUL wedding of Ben and Fibia Peterson last weekend- alas I don't have a pic of them :) But, please enjoy all the other lovelies we captured.

And working our camera is still a huge work in progress.  We bought the Canon Mark 2 last year and is still a bit over our heads...

*Miss Ruthie was with her grandpa and grandma-I think she has them wrapped around her little fingers (as she does us).

The pic below is the carseat they bought for her and her grandpa seriously had her laughing right here-I seriously squeal whenever she is giggling/laughing because it is pure joy.

Mommy and Daddy ready for the wedding

The amazing flowers done by Linsey Fuller...she rocks.

The Stellar Stillars (baby Berlin due in four months!)

 The beautiful Watsons.

The amazing Mosers who just added Scarlet Ruth to their beautiful family.

Emily, Me, Shan and Katie-they all make one's heart so full.

And this...yes, I am the whitest one.  Shockingly white.  Really?

The Hottie Hoilands.

 The other magnificent Mosers!

How the best man did his speech...isn't this building incredible???

And here is the beautiful couple (so I found an engagement picture...)-she seriously was the most striking bride-as you could likely guess :)  And her dress...oh, the dress.

Praise Jesus for beauty.

Two more in the next month, then one in June, one in July, two in August :)

xoxo, Anna N
